I love a little pop of color in all my outfits and this sweater is the perfect piece for that! (My sis is obsessed with the heart print too).
I decided to pair the sweater with a relaxed pair of jeans - boyfriends are perfect for this. Because there is so much color in the sweater, the rest of the accessories should be pretty natural and low key in color. I like that these pumps are nude but still have texture to them so they're still a focal point of their own.
Top it all off with a hat...only if you're having a bad hair day, of course!
Do you love a good pop of color in your everyday outfits?
I am a huge fan of Rag & Bone. While they make fantastic clothes, I'm actually more secretly in love with their shoes - they are spot on for each season and tastefully (and practically) integrate the trends into their designs. I have their Newbury Boots and find it quite disappointing when I can't somehow work them into an outfit.
Love that they used Kate in their latest ad campaign. You just can't go wrong with her!
I recently moved in with my boyfriend and have been decorating my brains out (totally not complaining though)! I've been really inspired and think I'm finally figuring out my interior design style - a bit modern but still classic with loads of color...well, pops of color that is. I'm a huge sucker for white walls loaded with amazing prints - photos, symbols, sayings, maps, etc.- that bring the room together. The neon ampersand is definitely my fave.
What about you? Do you have a favorite interior style?
Aw, I'm so sad these photos did not come out well at all :(
I bought this amazingly bright top from Zara this weekend ($9!) and was so excited to style it this week. I chose one of my oldest most favorite pair of Rich & Skinny jeans in a Cargo color to pair them with - I love how the 2 contrasted. Since my top was so bright, I kept everything else in the outfit very neutral opting for brown wedges and a brown bag in a classic shape.
Welp, I guess I'll just have to do a bit of a repeat offender soon to show you the full effect of the 'fit but, you get the idea for now!
I have been so inspired by (of all things!) shorts lately! I am loving a classic pair of cutoffs with a crisp white button up and a delicate pair of heels. I recommend sizing up on the shirt or heading into the men's section (don't be shy) for the button up - the baggier fit of the top makes the whole outfit. Top it all off with a chunky necklace.
Although we're still in July, I am starting to crave Fall...anyone else?!?
This is the perfect Fall outfit for work, brunch with the gals or date night. I love the chartreuse color in these Jil Sanders wedges - it screams Autumn! The vintage cherry print on this Equipment top is the perfect balance for work - the fruit are so fun but the silk is effortlessly chic.
What are you looking forward to wearing this Fall?
When I lived in Australia, I had the amazing opportunity to work with One Teaspoon - the PR firm I interned at represented the brand. Needless to say, I immediately fell in love with the clothes (the designer is an absolute riot too!).
Now, they've teamed up with one of my all time fave models - Erin. You're Welcome.
Summer. Sale. Those might be the best 2 words I've heard in a while so, naturally, I took a peak at all the amazing goodies and made a Summer Sale Wishlist! The best part about so many of these pieces is that you can easily take these Summer frocks and carry them over into fall with a little bit o' layering.
Check it below and tell me what you think! What Summer pieces are you transitioning into your Fall wardrobe?
4. This top is perfect for work but is still sure to keep you cool in the warm Summer days. For fall, I'd wear exactly as styled - leather leggings and a clutch to take you from day to night | Equipment Sleeveless Blouse
